New section on our website: How to recognise predatory magazines or publishers
As a new section on the web de la Red de Bibliotecas y Archivos del CSIC, the content How to recognise predatory journals or publishers (Cómo reconocer revistas o editoriales depredadoras) has just been published in the Research Support section (Apoyo a la investigación).
The aim of this new section is to summarise in a synthetic and visual way several clues to alert researchers as to whether the publisher or journal in which they wish to publish could be predatory.
This content includes links to resources from the international initiative Think. Check. Submit international initiative, such as an explanatory video or its checklists, which allow researchers to check quickly and easily whether they are dealing with a predatory publisher.
This new section aims to be a first approach to possible predatory practices of which researchers may be victims and seeks to offer some tools to detect them.
