The ENFOCHEM research group offers a doctoral thesis within the CYCLIC Project of the National Plan.
The project proposes innovative tools to assess the environmental fate of polar organic pollutants and assess their risks to human health and to ecosystems in a climate change scenario. The project has a strong multidisciplinary nature and offers marked synergies in several scientific disciplines: environment, toxicology and natural resources management.
We are looking for an enthusiastic PhD student candidate with a great interest in acquiring knowledge in high resolution mass spectrometry for the determination of polar organic pollutants in water samples, biota, and agricultural crops.
Applicants must have or be about to obtain a Master's degree in Science or an equivalent degree in one of the following fields: analytical chemistry, environmental sciences, biology or pharmacy. Exceptionally, candidates with a Bachelor's degree can also be considered.
Type of offer: 3-years contract
Application deadline: 30th September 2019.
