Job offer for Dissemination Manager at IDAEA

WE OFFER: The possibility of integrating into a leading and multidisciplinary research centre to learn about the research being carried out, enhance its visibility and give support to its organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION: To promote IDAEA research on appropriate social media channels, news outlets and technical magazines, coordinating and organizing engagement activities with various stakeholders and the general public.

CONTRACT DURATION: Two years, with likely 2-years extension and the possibility of further extension.

APPLICANT PROFILE
  - Successful completion of higher education in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Geology, Biological Science, Pharmacy, Physics or other sciences relevant to IDAEA research work.
  - Bilingual in English (Cambridge 1st Certificate or TOEFL or similar).
  - Highly organised, efficient and capable of multi-tasking.
  - Experience with social media channels such as twitter and in writing for a lay public
  - Organizational skills and practical experience with outreach events
  - Dynamic, positive personality with an excellent ability to communicate and work with professionals from different scientific disciplines.
  - Proactive, self-sufficient, reliable, and friendly behaviour
  - Strong teamwork and very good communication skills
