El CSIC rinde homenaje al dibujante Antonio Fraguas "Forges" con la exposición 'La ciencia según Forges', que recoge 66 viñetas de temática científica y tecnológica que el humorista gráfico publicó en El País (1995-2018).

Se inaugurá el martes 5 de noviembre a las 12:00h y se podrá visitar hasta el 31 de enero de 2020 en el Edificio Central del CSIC de Madrid (C. Serrano, 117). Posteriormente irá itinerando a lo largo del año 2020 por las delegaciones y centros de divulgación del CSIC en toda España.

Title: Suspect screening of natural toxins in freshwater reservoirs

JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will be responsible for the expansion of research activities within the institute by raising income received by the various IDAEA research groups.

JOB DESCRIPTION: To promote IDAEA research on appropriate social media channels, news outlets and technical magazines, coordinating and organizing engagement activities with various stakeholders and the general public.

As every year for these dates, the Expominer Exhibition of Fira Barcelona is celebrated, an event dedicated to the minerals, fossils and subjects related to Earth Sciences. Since its inception, both Catalan Universities and Institutes of the CSIC have participated in the divulgation activities and workshops offered to the general public. This year will celebrate its 41st edition from 8 to 10 November at the Montjuïc Exhibition Center (more information and program of activities: www.expominer.com).

The PhD Researcher Ana Bilbao Girona from Chemical Biology group at IQAC, will defend her PhD thesis this coming Wednesday, 30th october at 11:00 am at Sala de Actos CID.

On Monday, 18^th November 2019, the Institute for Advanced Chemistry of Catalonia (IQAC) from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) organizes a workshop on “Ethical Aspects of Research”.

Research ethics is based on universal principles that apply in all parts of the world. Although these principles are universal, the availability of the resources necessary to preserve these principles throughout the research process are not always universal or carried out equally.
