DIGITAL.CSIC maximizes the visibility and accessibility of CSIC research results through its integration and indexing by multiple search engines and science aggregators in open access and emerging infrastructures to ease Open Science. Thus, the deposit and diffusion in open access repositories guarantees the increase of exposure and reuse of digital contents in the web and through the dynamic inclusion in a network of open, free and stable portals, the contents of the repositories are prevented from becoming information silos with limited presence on the web.
